Civic VX O2 Sensor Conumdrum

Okay folks, I'm presently looking for the definitive answer to which type of O2 sensor that I would need to buy to enable lean burn on my Civic Vx. To get right to the point, is there a comparable aftermarket sensor that will give me the same result as the factory OEM O2 sensor? If so, who makes it, what's the part number, where can I find it and whom here from the forum can attest to utilizing one.

I'm certain that this has brought up many times; but the information over the internet is very very conflicting. At present, it would appear that the previous owner had replaced the old O2 sensor with the wrong part number. The car runs fine; but it may explain my lousy gas mileage.
Thank You.

Oh, I just needed to add a few more details. My car is a stock 94 Civic VX Federal, with the D15Z1 engine and 5-wire O2 sensor.

I got the one on amazon for 190$ worked like it should. I'm 99% sure this is the one I bought and from this seller. Amazon.com: NGK 24300 Oxygen Sensor - NGK/NTK Packaging: Automotive

You can make 100% sure by checking your past orders.

That's just it, I've never made a past order for my vehicle. However, the underlying question is if whether I'm absolutely committed to purchasing a Honda OEM O2 sensor for my Civic Vx, to enable lean burn to happen.

Well from what I've noticed recently, the stamp on the O2 sensor that I have states as LZA09-E1. My understanding is that I would need either A00, or A01. Am I correct on this?

A09 on the sensor means its the correct one. Do you have an engine light on? Does it stumble in lean burn? What mileage are you getting?
