Kind of unfair that the Prius was floored the whole time....but Woah, it only got 17MPG?!?! My VX does better than that during an autocross event.

Though I don't see eye to eye with him, I do have to give the star of the show credit. He is a funny guy that has a real passion for cars. He knows how to entertain as well.

top gear is a good show. if you want to see something truely amazing. search youtube for the atom and smallest car. also throw in top gear on the search. they are good ones too.

I catch them on BBC America sometimes. it is funny that he said that it isn't what you drive but how you drive it. he is a car conassuer (probably misspelled) he has driven the baddest of the bad, the coolest of the cool and also the smallest of the small.

connoisseur.. close. the french love to make ridiculous words

i wouldnt say its unfair. it just happens to be what the cars are designed for and where they are efficient. the prius is not designed for a track or aggressive driving. the m3... well, i think we all know about that.

No doubt this is really not a good comparison...people don't buy a prius to use it as a track car and they don't buy a M3 for fuel efficiency but I do think it is interesting...but yes they do show a good conclusion on its how you drive the vehicle

I just though this was really cool and wanted to share...

Beef-nice links, also check out the one they did on the T-Rex, someone brought one of them to our local meet the other night, very cool!

when you say T-rex are you talking about a 3 wheel motorcycle (2 in front) or that huge dodge truck with tandem axles in the back?

don't they come with the hayabusa motor in them?

there is a guy here that has a bike with one in it. they are crazy fast. he said that the 3 wheelers go faster because of the aero.

The BMW doesn't have to "try" to go 80-100mph,

the Prius was not meant for it at all.

I see their point, and love TopGear, but I hate how they trash fuel economy cars, when they are the lucky ones driving every awesome car in the world!
