All you SuperMID users.....

What have you found as the best way to mount your SuperMID?

Do you unplug it and take it with you when you leave your car?
Have you made a little case for it?

Let me know how / where you mounted it. Pictures would be appreciated.

Thank in advance.

I stuck it in the left between the window and the dash (under my inspection sticker). I always just left it in there, people dunno WTF it is and could never figure out how to use it...

I put mine on the dash, just to the left of the main instrument panel (note, reverse left and right if you drive on the right, as I am from the UK!). This is where the MPG meter is on some other cars I drove, so I am happy with it there. When I permanently mount it, it will have velcro on the bottom, so I can stick it there when I drive and put it in the glovebox when I am parked.

I'm just trying to see where everyone puts their's. I figure that I will put it in the top left of my dash as well. Seems like it will be the best not only for line of sight but also wiring as well.

Now I just have to figure if I should install it now or wait until I do my MPFI swap that I have been gathering parts for.

If I did it now with my DPFI set up would it be easy to re-wire it when I switch out my intake manifold and ECU?
