I think it goes back to how the vehicle is maintained. In my family vehicles are very well maintained, as my brother in law runs the service dept in a local Ford dealer.

The old Focus has oil changes every 3000, plus filter, I never use cheap oil, I adjust my viscosities to winter and summer. Its an automatic, so its slow and just goes back and forth in traffic. The typical story of never raced, 50% highway and 50% city, I know the original owner, who just drove the car around locally, and its always warmed up.

Its starting to produce significant blow by and it just keeps getting worse each day. Im just sort of frustrated with it.
