Wanted to change out the rear brake line to match the front. Both blue Core lines now. Both Galfer lines were removed (silver) looks great! Also got all air out of line and rear brake actually works well now

Bike was not idling steady and not sounding right at higher rpm. Also noted some vibrations at higher rpm. Decided to perform a throttle body sync. What a huge difference!! Bike is soo smooth now. I can ride first gear without jerkiness haha! Love learning in this FZ1!

Throttle cable was frayed. Ordered and replaced. Was a little stressful. Dropped some things down in between engine and frame. Had to fish out. Happened again. Could not retrieve plastic shoulder washer but found the micro beering for the throttle body throttle housing few!

Front tire was flat. 24 degree morning. Happened 2 days ago and again this morning. Filled with air at 9:30am. Will monitor and report back. Front 36psi Rear 40psi

Noticed miles per gallon we’re going down rapidly from 36mpg to 34, to 30 then 27 and so on. Checked on the last one I changed my filter and it was 11 months and 20,000 some odd miles ago. It’s time. Cleaned BMC air filter as directed and changed out. Will clean my secondary filter for filter swap.

Had time to troubleshoot issue of bike running on what seemed to be 2 cylinders. It would then bog down and cut out. Raised the tank and checked the air intake pressure sensor. Sensor was connected and looked fine. Noted a red wire disconnected from wiring harness. Opened connector and crimped exposed wire to harness. Tested bike and voila! Bike sounds awesome again! Took for test ride to meet Alfino for lunch. The beast is back! Just took some time and patience

Bike started stuttering on my way back from work to home. Took the longer route around peace dale. High st is when it started to bog down and run on 1,2 cylinders? Error code 13. Bike stalled a few times but I started up while coasting and continued. Air pressure sensor. Will check and pull it to test. Replace of need be.

New tire time. Decided to be proactive and change them out before they showed the wiring hehe. Changed at rear tire 50,826 - 59,512 = 8,686 miles. Front tire 51,586 - 59,512 = 7,926 miles.

It was that time again. Had to remove the bellypan to allow access to oil drain bolt. Bike seemed to be running hot. Getting to 205 faster than normal and it’s only 77 today here. Decided to run bike with coolant cap off. Also topped off reservoir. Will test

Decided to let bike go to 1500 miles. Nonissues noted. Oil was dirty but not sludgy. See you at the next 1500 mile checkup

Wanted a cleaner look on the front end. Also wanted a lower profile. Removed stock alien antennae and added CRG Arrow mirrors. Love my new look!

Bike had a noticeable shake at anything over 20mph. I thought it was the wheel bearings. Changed them out and same issue. Shaking/vibration. Re-balanced tires same issue. Finally bought a new chain and sprocket set. Swapped out and the shaking is gone!!

Noticed the front wheel vibrating with a pattern. I mounted from bike and balanced twice before this episode. Not fixed. Relaxed bearings in front and rear. Balanced the tires a 3rd time. Noticeable difference and vibrating pattern is gone.

Could feel vibrations in the bars more. On hard stops I did not hear or feel a clunk but I could feel movement in the head. Removed top plate with bars. Cleaned lock nuts and dust seal. Re-greased area and righted main bolt. Tightened top plate all set :)

Bike would not start. Crank no start. Checked all connections. New factory battery. Error codes 33, 34, 35. Open circuit detected in theprimary lead of the cylinder #1,2,3 ignition coil. Removed battery leads let sit for 10 minutes. Same issue. Swapped coils same issue. Removed coils again checked aftermarket quick shifter connection to ignition coils. Noted one of the quick shifter connectors to the ignition coils had a frayed bare wire. Remove quick shifter connection from bike. Bike started up misfiring. Forgot to plug in one of the coils. Plugged in all four coils again without quick shifter bike runs normal. Update: 6:30pm - rode bike to Warwick noted misfire. Came back and tested coils. 2 seem bad out of spec (came with bike) Replaced with after market cheap coil. Replaced 1, 4. Bike runs fine now. Ordered replacement coils.

The lithium battery did not work out. Could not start the bike. Lost amps on crank up down to 8. Should be 12-13. Talked to cycle gear and returned the defective lithium battery. Purchased new battery from Razee in NK. Back to lead acid. Connected and started my bike!!! Ran for 2 - 3 minutes. Time to go for a test ride. 1st test - bike started up with some throttle applied. Seemed like it was blowing out carbon as it hesitated then stayed running. Reduced throttle to 2,000 then 1,500rpm. Let go of throttle and bike continued to run. Let idle for 10 minutes, as I buttoned up the bike and put it back together. 2nd test - on the road and doing awesome! Ran for about 30 minutes and stayed running. Came home shit off. Started right back up!

Battery died today. Replaced with lithium. Blew a fuse and had to replace main fuse 50amp as well Battery did not start my bike. Returned to cycle gear. Full refund. Purchased new factory lead acid battery from Razee in NK. Started right up!

Idle was still low (800-900rpm) after oil change, new air filter, ignition coil swap (to test) Coils were fine so I swapped back to OEM. Pulled Thermo Wax unit and cleaned the plunger. Tested successfully. Starting up at 1300-1500rpm again ;)

Bike would not start this morning. Winding up, fuel pump is engaging but won’t start. Noted error codes 19, 34, 36 were flashing in sequence. Researched and found it could be side stand sensor, ignition coils or ignition. I recently swapped my OEM coils for cheap after market coils to test. I had recently performed an air filter change and oil change. Both resolved the issue. When I removed one of the new coils I bent the top. I tested with multimeter and found it to be off a bit. This is the real. I kept the new cheap coils in and used one OEM to replace the broken one. After the bike would not start, I removed the tank and sprayed electric cleaner into the wiring after inspection. Didn’t find any kinks or crimps. Removed all coils. Installed old OEM coils and tested. Bike started up and has been running well. Took for a 2 hour ride and no issues.
