Replaced oil and filter at 69,650 miles. Air filter too. Also disconnected evap crap as engine running was having issues.

Accident on Rocket when Gordon Kessler hit me from the rear on Riverside Avenue on August 13, 2014. Repairs started that weekend and new tire, Michelin Power Pure 140/70/12 was put on at around 62,800 miles.

56,850 miles In preparation for the Scooter Cannonball, Boris and Eric installed new parts. Red front shock, belt, sliders, Michelin Power Pure rear tire, oil, filter, hub oil. It might be ready. Michelin City Grip front tire a month ago, at around 56,200 miles.

Boris changed the Variator and steering bearings today. Dr. Pulley sliders ruined the Variator. Now much smoother, faster and quieter. Almost new again.

Changed tires to Michelin Power Pure front and rear at 49,333. Also put original exhaust back on to preserve the engine as the LV caused much backfiring and I was concerned that it ran hot.

Russ, Boris and I changed the belt at 47,184 miles. The old one had been on twice with approximately 10,000 miles total.

Ride to St. Simons and Southern Soul BBQ. Me, Russ, Tom R, Charlie, Tanya, Bill P and Mark Ritz left Bojangles. Picked up Russ F at Fernandina Beach, then Elaina at Goasis for ride into St. Simons. Nice weather and fun ride. Tanya and I headed onto I-95 south of Kingsland and had a fast ride home. 200 miles total for me.

Solo ride loop to Folkston, Georgia. 41,531 to 41,647 for 116 miles. Went up Old Kings Road to Acree Road to 301 to Callahan. Then River Road to 121 to US1 to Folkston. Then 121 to St. George back to 121 to 301 to Otis to Old Plank to home.

Sliders ride. 40,216 to 40,366. 150 miles. Russ, Rob, Charlie, Tom, Alex and Tom. Rode from Bojangles to Broward Bridge to Lem Turner. North to Callafan. 1 to Folkston, 40 to Kingsland, 17 to Yulee. Good lunch at Sliders in Fernandina Beach. Best part of the ride, returning down A1A.

Tallahassee ride to see Sam. 40,485 to 40,923 for a total of 438 miles. I am quite sure that it was the most miles in one day for me.

Boris found that the issue was a damaged crankshaft lobe and rocker arm. All probably caused by design flaw. Repaired after almost 3 months but should be good again. Also did new piston rings. $650.00 total cost. Didn't matter too much as I had David's GT to use while mine was in the shop.
