A 451.5 mile night drive from Jackpot NV to Vegas, to complete a 30 hour 1376.3 mile road trip. Cool temps in the high elevations, no AC used. Several stops for short breaks during the AM. Drove the US 93 to Ely, US 6, to 318, and back on US 93 to the Apex and home. No traffic, no AC, no cruse control. Big elevation changes from 2100ft to 6800ft. A lot of 1200ft elevation changes on the 318, and less steep elevation changes on US 93 from Crystal Springs to Vegas. Mostly down hill from Ely (6800ft) to Vegas (1800ft). Some 20mph cross winds, and some tail winds. One of the best MPG I had on 85 octane from Jackpot NV fuel. I often get crappy fuel economy on the US 93 due to head winds.
