A 411.6 mile Road Trip to Nipton, Mojave National Preserve: 38 miles off road to Vanderbuilt, Hart Mine Rd, NY Mt road, and Goffs. Then Route 66 to Fenner, Amboy, Ludlow, Newberry Springs, Daggett, Yermo, and Vegas via I-15. Mild rain from Goffs to Vegas. Slow speeds, tail wind on the I-15, cool temps in the 50s to low 70s. Off road trail was mild washboard, some areas of soft deep sand.
