A 243.6 mile return trip from Ridgecrest CA to Vegas via US395, Kramer Jct, US58 and Barstow, and the Interstate 15. Cool temps 40s and 60s. No traffic, freeway speed 65 tops, slower going up Halloran Springs and Mountain Pass. Faster descending. Cruse control used on US 58. Strong head wind 20mph on the 395 from Ridgecrest to Kramer Jct, mostly 5th gear 2500rpm at 65 mph.
