A 293.7 mile round trip from Tonopah. The second fill up of the road trip to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, the Mexico border, and 2 off road locations. Via Old US Hwy 80, Gilla Bend, Ajo and Hwy 85. About 11 miles on Puerto Blanco drive (x2). And, 21 miles on Ajo Mountain road loop trail. Mild washboard, mostly graded gravel, and some paved areas. Heavy rain non stop from Organ Pipe Cactus to Tonopah, Speed limits were reduced to 50mph on Hwy 85 and 80 for safety. Some deep puddles on Hwy 85. The rain was very heavy along Hwy 80 to Tonopah. The drive started at 620 PM, a 4 hour non stop drive. 2000+ foot elevation change at Ajo off road, and pretty flat from Organ Pipe Cactus to Tohopah on the 85 and 80.
