A 300.8 mile trip from Yuma AZ to Gila Bend to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and to Buckeye AZ for refuel. A long drive on the Interstate 8, speed limit 75mph. Maintained cruse control speeds of 65mph and followed trucks. Very small elevation changes, cool temps, stronger headwinds than expected. No traffic, conservative driving with one stop at the rest area. Then a sunset twilight drive to Organ Pipe Cactus from Gila Bend. And a slow night drive to Buckeye AZ with stops for photography in Why, Ajo, and other areas along the way.
