The first drive since the road test on 5/17/18. A 308.3 mile start of a roadtrip from Vegas to Bakersfield via I-15, and 85. Ideal drive conditions, Early morning, low wind, cool low 70s. No AC, no cruse control, conservative driving. Keeping RPMs under 2500 in 3rd and 4th gear up steep hills. Not many semi trucks on the road. Big elevation changes (1200 to 5000 ft) as well as long stretches of level area. Maintained speed limits, going slower up steep hills.
