A 280.0 mile trip from Page (Lake Powell) AZ to Vegas. Night drive starting at 830 PM on the 89 to 389 with strong crosswinds. Keeping RPMs around 2K, speeds topping 65mph. 3 rest/catnap stops along the way. Heavy 25+mph headwinds on Interstate 15 from St George UT to Vegas. Freeway driving speed topping 60mph and low as 50 mph on the I15 (speed limit is 80 and 75mph). Long steep elevation changes ranging 3000 to 7800ft, and getting lower (2000ft) from Bunkerville to Vegas. The headwinds were strong and gusty near Vegas. Temperatures in the 60s all the way. Arrived about 0400 AM.
