Going to pick up plates from Benton. Fuel low lamp has not yet come on, but needle's close to R. This tank included a drive up to Woodland, WA and back, just for the hell of it.

Oil change at Mercedes of Portland. Mobil 15W-40. $59. Took 2 hours(!) In future, best to avail oneself of the complimentary shuttle service, which operates in a 10 mile radius. Sufficient for home and office!

Disturbingly, only the driver's side low beam is working this am. No fog lights. Blinkers, running lights and highs seem good. Will try to run by Al's this evening.

Brought the car home from Miller Mechanical this evening. New master cylinder and valve cover, headlights, instrument lights, plate lights, wipers, air filter. Ostensibly she is not only good to go, but needs to go... I am instructed to drive long distances, to cleanse it with the purifying fire of mileage.
