Mastercraft LSR tyres replaced the Toyo JU48s after more than 80000kms. Nice price at $580 for the set, with a guarantee for 80000. Here's hoping I see close to 120000 out of them! :)

The driving for this tank was little different to the last, yet the economy was far different. The only difference I can consider is the fact the last tank had the A/C running often. I didn't think running the A/C would affect the economy on this engine has much as it seems to have done.

Odd to see a higher consumption when there was so much 'highway' running for this tank, I would have expected this tank to be one of the best. Highway running was at around 105kmph for the most part on the F3 between the Central Coast & Newcastle. The DPF warning light activated, there is around 1500km (1000mi) until the next service is due.
