812am, saw Nathan, told him I needed an oil change 816am, checked in with girl, oil change is $79.99, full synthetic. Be about an hour wait. 850am, still waiting, they use Castrol synthetic 5w-30 oil. Sign posted $44.99 full synthetic. 852am, called store # 5, spoke to Maureen, full synthetic oil changes are $49.99 as long as they use 5w-30 or 20. 857am, spoke to Nathan to confirm oil change price is $49.99, plus tax; told him I spoke to Maureen. He will take care of it, no problem. 933am, Nathan spoke to me, said he’ll work on my vehicle in a few minutes. 1025am, Tech brought car in the back to change oil. Wait time now 2 hours, 10 minutes. 1034am, Nathan showed me that the oil pan is leaking, replacement of gasket will cost about $250.00. And the power steering pump is leaking, that needs to be replaced. 1046am, car is now done. 1056am, girl is back at the desk, paid in cash.

Noticed oil leak from yesterday, small drop of oil or driveway. Have Nathan from VIP Auto check out the oil leak when I have free time. Also, have him check the tire pressure sensors. Light is on, but tires are set at 36 psi.

301pm, arrived at site, appt. 315pm. 305pm, tech Jacob,checks tire pressure, tread wear, mileage. He said, he can check the TPMS but this model year they don’t do. Only Lexus can work on the sensor system. He will check if they have any leaks. - checked tires, rear passenger tire has a screw in it. They can repair it free of charge. Two front tires are 2014, they need to be replaced as soon as possible. Quote for 2 tires is $457.98, to match Falken tires. Try to replace before summer. 311pm, vehicle will be in the system for next repair available. 349pm, Service Tech moves car into Bay-1 351pm, Jack up passenger rear tire 352pm, gave tech lug nut key 400pm, removed tire, working on removal of nail & repair. 424pm, tech showed me the mail he removed. Tire repaired, set all tires to 36psi. 427pm, reinstalled rear tire. 430pm, car done 437pm, low tire pressure light on, probably TPMS sensors. See if Independent Lexus dealer can check it.

818am, arrived at shop for smog, air check Quote for thermostat replacement labor only 822am, female desk assistant, asked her about having the smog done, air check due to low tire pressure. She will ask the Manager about the replacement of the thermostat, for labor cost, 1.5 hrs. I was given labor estimate of $160.00. See if they can match the labor price. 839am, mechanic drives car into the bay for smog. 845am, spoke to Nathan, he said $180.00 includes the coolant. He can have them work on it now. 849am, drove car around the back side. 920am, completed replacement. Nathan found that the radiator is leaking at the bottom passenger side. Needs to be replaced. Labor cost to replace $250.00 I need to purchase a new radiator, along with upper and lower hoses. If it continues to heat up it’s because of the radiator.
