Finally Passed Inspection! Running well again after swapping the new no-code but ill-performing supposedly "Hitachi" distributor out for the Cardone Rebuilt unit after passing inspection. The Hitachi distributor cleared the 1381 code and got the O2 readiness monitor reset. Swapping back to the Cardone distributor lit up the 1381 error again, but I don't care, since uit;s running right and the inspection sticker is good for the next 9 months. :) Need to do some extended highway testing.

206. Installed new distributor from Rock Auto, supposedly Hitachi. Cured the 1381 error code FINALLY, but it's not running right and still one Readiness Monitor that needs to reset (Evap). Nasty Dead Spot between 2-3K, but once VTEC kicks in it's okay. Gotta wind it out more to keep it from being cranky. Poured in a bottle of Valvoline fuel system cleaner before fill up.

206 hb. Best tank since 7/16. Includes R/T to the NY State line, up Rt 287. CEL / 1381 will not go away. O2 Readiness Monitor won't reset.
