Tank 5- best tank 54mpg got 51 mpg going 65-70mph on the highway and stop n go traffic. Accelerated more aggressively, breaked less and coasted more than breaking. eased off the gas at 65 to get EV on and kept it there during the 65-70mph Between 40-60 mph on the highway. 20-40 city. Im averaging 45-48 on the highway driving on my nights home when the temps are cooler. This week it has been cooler. 75-80 degrees. The AC was at 69F. The econ button was on the entire time. This time near the end of the trip, I have been using the regenerative breaking when I am coming to a stop on the highway or a stop sign. I have also been coasting more and breaking less. I try to regenerative break when I know the traffic is slowing but not stopping completely. I only break when I have to. On the computer I am seeing slightly higher numbers than the last 2 tank trips. My best this last tank was 54mpg average. The computer seems to be extremely close to the mpg I am calculating from the gallon refill and tank mileage. The online calculator for this site is slightly off.
