For this tank I wanted to see how much better my fuel economy would be if I consciously drove with efficiency in mind. Despite the city-heavy driving I do I had been disappointed with tanks in the low 20s. When possible I shifted before 3K rpm, drove the speed limit, and used momentum to my advantage. Incidentally this tank included more freeway miles than the typical tank. It's no surprise that staying out of the higher RPMs improves efficiency but this holds especially true with Hondas and avoiding VTEC. I was pleased with the results and will pick and choose my VTEC indulgences in the future. 26.6 indicated.
