Snow tire change. Summer tires are basically done. May need toe adjusted (heavy inner wear on right side). Added 1/2 qt. Consumed about 1/2 qt in 1,350 miles. Next time, oil change.

Added 1/2 quart GC 0W-30. Oil was about at 1/4 mark on dipstick, now at 3/4 mark. About 1,700 miles since oil change. Works out to about 2,250 miles per quart. That's about right, maybe slightly better than usual.

Added 1/4 qt make-up oil. Probably needed 3/4 qt but that's what it gets today. I'd estimate 1500 miles to the quart. Added some coolant, too.

Replaced starter motor. PG260 from a 94-99 Chevy C/K 350. Napa Power Premium Plus. Cranks WAY faster now.

Passed emissions on third try. 2-speed idle test. 89 octane. Used left exhaust rubber plug for all tests.

Failed retest. Reducing spark advance @ 2500rpm made it worse. Going to advance a little bit and try again.

Replaced fan controller. Required re-wiring fan relay harness for ground switched relay vice the old 12V switched relay.

Cleaned TBI, IAC, and PCV system, and rebuilt injector pod (gaskets for pod and regulator, screens for injectors). Seafoam treatment. Preparation for emissions in April. Fair amount of oil in the PCV breather. This engine has a fair amount of blow-by at this point.
