managed to replace the last 2 stubborn plugs with platinum +4s. Engine revs smoothly now, regardless of load, throttle input or rpm range. Hopefully this will help the mpg a little! other recent fixes include: -replaced the diff mount -welded on the nose -welded on the mwrench steering fix -replaced transmission fluid with redline mtl -replaced diff fluid with 75w90 gl-5 redline hypoid gear oil -replaced lower control arm bushings -replaced idler arm bushing -replaced (missing) exhaust support pipe clamp -replaced a/c drier
