Thornton to Slida. Then got stuck in snow at the cabin losing 1mpg. Drove out to Crested Butte through 114/Gunnison before heading back to Salida for the night. Very cold 0 degree start idling to warm up the car for Preston before filling up in Salida for the last 150 home.

Drove up to run a couple months ago, then took the car down to see my grandma at her place before giving birth. The car sat for quite a while before a trip up to Longmont for GD&T course before driving to the gas station to fill up. Had a coupel city trips to work and such as well but had been aiming for a higher MPG.

D4c return from south fork down to bishops castle and home. Lots of traffic in co springs and denver but was getting I think 30mpg. Drive home with brad and ran some ac too

Drove down up Wolf Creek Pass as the group leader for the last leg of D4C. Then over to Chromo leading the caravan where we blasted it before cruising to Chama. A brief stop and then another blast up over Cumbres Pass really was a neat section before we pulled off to hike Duck Lake trail. Felt like the perfect route speed wise for the 540i. Then saw the oldest church in Colorado before cruising back into South fork for the night where we had dinner at Ted's vacation home up some dirt roads.

The drive for D4C 2019 from GJ up and over the Grand Mesa to Cedar Edge for lunch. We had done a short hike before then going over to Crawford for a group meetup. I lead the caravan down the Black Canyon in a spirited manner and then cruised into Gunnison. Checkec in at the hotel and then the did the Ice Cream social. The next morning we went to the group meetup at Blue Mesa before the blast into Lake City, CO. Overall did some spirited driving up Slumgullion Pass on a sweet excursion. Stopped in South Fork and filled up the next morning after the awards and social evening. Car overfilled with gas so I don't know exactly how much fuel it took.

Fuel up in Palisade Exxon before departing on D4C 19 with the group. We had fille dup and then drove the night before into Grand Junction and toured the CO National Monument. We had about 30 mpg and then lost 2-3 because of the large hills and such of the monument.

Drove to Estes and back home for a trip for pizza and a walk. Trip to Mom's place for a family birthday dinner. Also drove around to a few places like work. OBC showed 27mpg. I filled up with 91oct in prep for D4C this weekend.

Drove to Golden Gate Canyon for a hike with Cooper. Pretty good mileage and then up to Longmont to see Kate and Aki for lunch and a hike up Rabbit Mountain. Took the car for an e test where it passed fast pass on the way home from work. Lastly drove up to the Continental Divide, Heman's Gulch for a run/hike with Cooper. Great mileage on the way back with pretty low traffic coming down from the pass.

50 miles from Longmont home on our way back from WY funeral. Then a few weeks where the car was driven to work once or so. Ted drove the car down south so that he could have his red 318is worked on near me. He had it sit for a few weeks before driving it back to grandma's for Easter. His car had a brake caliper bolt back out and the 540i rescued us. Then we drove the 540i back home. This was maybe 200 miles. Then we took the 540i up to Estes park with Allan an Adrienne for a belated birthday. I filled up in Estes with a range of 2 miles.

From Rawlins to Rock Springs for funeral. Then a few trips to the house and to the funeral home before hitting the road to head home. We stopped in Laramie for Pizza and then filled up near Longmont with a range of about 50 miles.

Drove to Fraser and back from Fraser trip where we went snowshoeing, tubing and then to lunch. Grandma, Tim and Ted joined us and we had a good time. A trip or to to work before the drive up to WY for Grandma's funeral. Lastly, we filled up in Rawlins with a 50 mile range left.

Drove to work a few times and around 80 miles (somewhere). Then headed down to Colorado Springs to see a rental property with Ted (firefly) and then meet up with Mary Kate and Will. We hit snow and that slowed us down with cold temperatures. Then we went out to lunch with them and headed back home. About 40% city/slow driving.

From Walsenburg south to Raton Pass. Then across to Cimarron and Eagles Nest and Taos, NM. Got stuck behind slow traffic on the route and NM highway's don't have good passing zones. Visited Walmart for a dog leash and then a couple hotels (Don Fernando and Sagebrush Inn). Meth with Joe and Joshua to discuss D4C. After the meeting we ate at a mexican restaurant up the street and then headed to the edge of the mountains to stay the night in a cabin in Lama, NM. In the morning, we drove back to Taos for breakfast with Carl G before driving up to Taos Ski Valley to see what is there. The return trip home brought us past San Luis, CO and the road US-160 was more interesting there than most of NM. We stopped in Monument again for gas and a coffee (ARA's bday). with 490 miles traveled. Gauge showed 29.4mpg and 40 miles range left.

Filled up in Walsenburg ont he way to a D4C scouting trip to Taos, NM. That's maybe 150 miles from home, and we stopped in Monument for coffee for Alexandras Bday. A few weeks back had driven the car down town to a dinner for work and a trip to my mom's new house on Gartrell.

Drove up to Vail for a ($$) night away. Explored the village area after a hike with the dog up near Climax Moly. Drove the car back and took it work a few days, but mostly it sat inside as I prepared the E28 for D4C with test drives. Took it to Fort Collins to explore the nature area near the reservoir up there and then drove the car to fill up just before a work dinner downtown.

Drove along anniversary trip to Salida/Monarch for a couple days and headed home via Breckenridge. But the road on I70 was closed so we turned around and drove back to Alma and Fairplay to head home via 285. The car sat and had a couple short trips to fill up and see what mileage we returned on the section of our road trip.

Drove the car to work and back along with a trip to King Soopers grocery before taking of for Salida. Also drove the car to see the Z3 3.0 and Z3M for a test drive. We drove 180 miles up and over a snowy Hoosier pass and made it to Maysville Co for our 2 year anniversary trip.

Drove from dad's place to the men's retreat at La Foret. Then drove him home before driving back to my place. Car sat until this weekend where we drove to Fort Collins and then offroad to see the Great Stupa near there before spending the night in Walden, CO. Then drove home through Rand, Granby, Winter Park and then filled up near Stanley lake with 70 miles remaining in the tank. Seemed like pretty good mileage even though there was some traffic and such.

Drove down to Tim's to get the X5 and trailer home the 635CSi AT. Then, Tim used the car for 30 miles or so. I drove the 540i back home and then we took the car down to a brunch at my Grandma's house. Took it to work for a day and some trips to the grocery store as well. Drove down to pick up my dad for the men's retreat.

Drove to Steamboat Springs to look at 635CSi from Granma's/parker road. Great mileage and then ate there. Had to tturn back when Alexandra left her jacket and drove up the pass an extra time but overall got 32mpg showin on OBC. Then drove down to Elizabeth for Tanner's wedding and drove back home. 31.7 showing ob OBC, car got great mileage at about 80mph on the highway cruising down the mountains.

Drove the car down to Allan and Adrienne's for his birthday. We drove to Kittredge for brunch before continuing along 285 to Guanella Pass. 10,000ft and then a slow drive into Georgetown for the Georgetown loop railroad. Dropped them off before heading home. Also drop the car around town for a game night with Mike/Carolyn and to work. Then down to Grandma's for a bunch at her house before filling up for a trip to Steamboat to look at a euro 635.

Drove a day or two to work and around the neighborhood after filling up from WY drive. Then had the car down to my Grandma's for July 4th party before another weekend trip to Colorado Springs for D4C planning meeting. Drove a mountain route home with Ted and Tim through Deckers before a short trip to work and fill up before Georgetown Railroad this weekend. I replaced bad front passengers shock and also replaced hose clamp to stop power steering fluid leak.

Drvoe the car down to Pueblo for RMVR day with Alexandra. It was hot but the AC worked (except with temp sensor went below freezing). Then the next week we took the car to Wyoming for a lifting meet for Alexandra's friend. The car drove smooth at 80+ and range showed ~15 miles when arriving home. Filled up with less than a gallon left in the tank. OBC showed 28mpg, we got less but close.
