More stopping and starting though the slight increase in MPG was due to a rather lengthy journey back from Scotland, though mostly down the A5. The car is also requesting a service and has been over due some 600 miles. The next figures will be low due to the servicing and local hop and pops.

Wife drove for 100 miles at whatever speeds she fancied through Aberdeen very bad stop start traffic. Took a hit on mpg marker. The rest was me on motorway from edge of Aberdeen to the Lake District. Mountain driving in Ullswater for 60 miles then the rest motorway. Motorway driving at 65mph Outside air temp 8 - 6 degrees Weather conditions dry to rainy. Morrisons fuel.

Tescos diesel. Weather variable 3-9 degrees. most journeys completed in dry but windy weather. No speed over 65mph except for emergencies to get away from chavs. Motorway driving at 65mph

Cold but dry conditions in France to the UK for 80% of this tank. Econ button turned on. I.e no air con. 4 stops on En Route for toilet breaks. Last stop was for fuel and toilet break. Cold but dry weather. car completely full of bags and people. Drove at a steady 65mph the whole motorway time no coasting

spilt about a two cup fills of diesel on the floor when filling it up. Half of the tank was short stops with an engine management warning light on. The thermostat and temp sender were changed then the EMWL went off. The rest of the mileage was driving in very bad rainy weather and stuck in traffic for 7 hours while heading to Dover. this fuel Up was while in France hence the cheap cost of the fuel. tyres were inflated to 2.6 and the Econ button turned on.
