Car Stopped Working!!. Alternator pulley bolt worn to the nub. Car taken to A2 Cars MK for repair, the result a New Alternator and belt. In hindsight after the repair the alternator pulley had fallen off on the 13th of October 2014. This exhibited a rattling noise in the engine compartment and odd electrical behaviour. Not to mention a severe and immediate drop in MPG!

Mostly local town driving. Me driving 80% with few short hops. Should have returned my usual 67-72 mpg. WTF!!! These Falken tyres have to go!!!!!

Fronts tyres replaced for Falkens 175 60 R15 81H. Topped up before I left to test how good they are for MPG. Actually they are shocking. They are E rated for rolling resistance. This journey was all motorway driving in sunny, dry and warm weather and should have returned 75mpg at least.
