Suspected tyre leak found and repaired. Though garage upped their repair cost post job and added extra stuff they didn't do. Now have bought my own repair kit. Outside air temp 10 degrees.

Two weeks after the alternator repair and new tyres the mpg is slightly better. I think the EGR valve is clogged and the rear brakes may be binding. The -2 degree temps can't help either but at least the electrical issues have been sorted with the new alternator.

New alternator and new front tyres to match the rears all repaired by Tony at A2 Cars MK. His service and expertise is exceptional and highly recommended. a slight increase in MPG post repair.
